Similar convenience to Modrinth App
Recommended Java settings
Access these Settings from the settings menu at the top of the App in the [JAVA] tab.
- I personally use Temurin JRE. Installing java is a fuck, you can figure this out yourself or use the default one.
6144MiB memory at minimum. I personally use 8192 MiB.- Launch Arguments:

Installation
- Get the Prism Launcher from here.
- Users without a Minecraft license, follow the instructions at this link..
- On the first launch, the App will guide you through the login process with your Microsoft account.
- Click on
Add Instanceto the top left of the App.
- In the left column of the newly spawned dialogue, click on
Modrinth. - Search for "Horizon Gotek".
- Select the latest version.
- Confirm with ´OK` and the modpack will be installed automatically.
- Launch the modpack from the Main window.
Updating
- Create Backups of your existing Instance. These are the important folders:

- Open the modpack settings.
- Select the modpack in Prism.
- Click on "Edit".
- Click on the section on the left that says "CurseForge" (or "Modrinth").
- Update the modpack.
- Click on "Update pack".
- The button is located near the right of screen next to the “Update to version” dropdown.
- Apply backups. I recommend using the
configthat came with the updates, as I cannot control/support mod configurations that differ from the modpack.
